We head to Jackson, WY to produce the Warrior’s Ride ‘16 presented by Monster Energy

TwoPlank’s lead film crew heads to Jackson, Wy, specifically Togwotee Lodge as we are producing the media arm of The Warrior’s Ride 2016 presented by Monster Energy.

Celebrity snowmobile personality Paul Thacker has jumped on board as a co-host of the event, and has personally invested a great deal to help make this event a success for the veterans. This opportunity gives Vets and their families an experience to come ride with some the best professionals in the world, while bonding the experience with their fellow veterans. This is especially designed around those who may be battling the fight against post-tramatic stress from their services to our country. Paul has been eager for the opportunity to reach out to these individuals and relate through overcoming his paralyzing snowmobile injury; now having an X-Games medal from the adaptive class to show for the successes of his progress.

About the Vet’s Ride
The initial focus and primary event of Race’n for Our Warriors is to introduce Veterans with physical or other limitations to the thrill of snowmobiling. Our hope is to eventually evolve and expand as an organization to offer diverse adaptive outdoor challenges for our deserving Veterans.

The end goal of Race’n for Our Warriors is to provide Veterans with unique recreational experiences that inspire comradery, offer opportunities for networking and relationship-building, and motivate Veterans with physical or other limitations to overcome their personal adversities. Snowmobiling in the great outdoors challenges these Veterans to adopt a “can-do” mentality, adapt to their individual circumstances, and overcome their visible and invisible injuries. Along the way, we hope to foster lifelong friendships and positive relationships between Veterans and the civilian volunteers—some who likewise have had to overcome life-affecting physical and other limitations.

Race’n for Our Warriors also works with, supports, and provides resources—financial and otherwise—to different Veterans organizations that share our desire to express appreciation for the men and women who served in the Armed Forces so they too can enjoy the freedoms and pursuits they sought to protect: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
