Crested Butte, CO – Acclaimed ski production company, Two Plank Productions, under the direction of Corey Tibljas, has beenin quest of many new opportunities to say the least. As Two Plank plans to announce the release date of their 2008 ski film release in mid- July 2007, they have been keeping the diversity high; as well as gaining brand exposure through new means.

Throughout the course of the last six months, the crew has been teaming up with some of the most original and best producer - directors in the action sports TV scene. With the crew working on national TV syndicated programs and special event coverage, Tibljas states that “It is a great opportunity for the crew, as it gives them a chance to work in a new realm, and see the industry through a new lens; accordingly, we are all motivated as ever which shows in the editing effort put into our new ski feature”.

As this team of college students pushes forward, they have had the profound opportunity to work with legendry greats like John “Sandy”, President of JSP Broadcast; Brian Lippy of FusionTV (and a former co-worker at Tibljas’ home town TV station and RSN affiliate, CBTV28 with Noah Wight); in addition to several members of the local media at KUSA NBC, KDVR FOX, and The Weather Channel.

Some other notable highlights Tibljas points out, is that as they are working on a two-year production schedule for their upcoming ski film, which allows them to produce a professional caliber film, while clearing the hurdles of full time student schedules. This will also allow Two Plank to aim for the sky, even with the constraints of a limited operational budget for film production.

“The largest benefit of the TV productions we are getting into,” Tibljas adds, “is that we can work on two projects at once, and increase funds for the planned extravagant international travels of the upcoming 2007/2008 winter season we have set up for the riders!” This sets up a great foundation for Two Plank as they are gearing up for the second season of feature production.

The master plan for the company is to continue growing as a business; through both brand extension and new company acquisitions. Two Plank plans to continue to add to its TV production collection, with new associate productions with JSP for the Snowmass Summer Series, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, and final cut on a TV pilot for the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse; on top of the currently airing spots of the 07 US Freeskiing Extremes, 07 Slush Huck Championship, SnowMotion, RSN clips, and High Alpine Events.

As for the film side, Tibljas is planning on releasing a dual disk feature. One being the action packed thriller, and the second a “Behind the Athletes Eyes” documentary film. Tibljas advises fans to keep their eyes peeled for the three-part movie trailer, with the first to be released in late July, accompanied by large magazine placement and Promo-events.
